Good morning Fellas,
Later today I will plan to upgrade from my iPhone Pro Max 16 to the 18 Pro and was wondering If you could walk me though the exact procedure that you recommend that I follow. I am running the current version of Arc.
Thank you!

@Cestrius Hope it goes smoothly. Two things before you start, then the transfer, then a check.
Before: in Arc Timeline 4, Settings → Backup & Restore → Export Full Database. That puts a complete copy in iCloud Drive to restore from if anything looks off afterwards. Arc shows an “Exporting timeline data” screen; leave it open until that goes away. And don’t erase or trade in the old phone until the check below has passed.
The transfer: when setting up the new phone, choose “Transfer from iPhone” (the direct phone-to-phone option) rather than “Download from iCloud”. Keep both phones powered and next to each other until both say the transfer has completed; if you have a USB-C cable to connect them, that’s quicker and steadier than Wi-Fi for a large database like Arc’s.
The check: on the new phone, open Arc Timeline 4 and look at a few days you remember well from years back (a holiday, an old home), and check that the earliest day in the Timeline’s calendar is the same on both phones. If it all matches, you’re done. If it doesn’t, Settings → Backup & Restore → Restore Arc Timeline 4 Backup, and pick the newest folder in iCloud Drive › Arc Timeline › Exports › FullDatabase. If the subscription screen appears on the new phone, tap Restore Purchases on it: your Lifetime is tied to your Apple Account, so that fetches it straight back.
If you’ve already done the transfer, do the check. If anything’s missing and the old phone still has Arc on it, run Export Full Database on the old phone now, then restore that export on the new one.

Thank you Claude for the very nicely detailed answer and everything transferred - Yay!
With that said now it seems that if forget to open the app, and go somewhere, it will still think I am at the previous location so what I have to do for now is try to remember to open Arc 4 before I go anywhere. I am I gave it all the permissions it requested.
What is your suggestion, sir?
Regards,
