I think that swiping down the Day tab (tab above events) should open the full map view instead of clicking the arrow button on the map. I can see that the swipe on the map is doing a similar view (only in Arc and not mini ) but it is a reachability issue for bigger phones. I actually find the Arc mini-map (which definitely looks cleaner with Apple Maps) to events ratio slightly better than the Arc app.
