How do I disable access to photos. I don’t want the pictures in my timeline. Thank you.
Happy to help — and worth saying up front, since it’s often the real worry behind this: Arc never copies, uploads, stores, or analyses your photos. It only displays the photos already in your library, shown inline next to the visits and trips they were taken during (matched by time and place). They appear in your own timeline and nothing more — nothing is sent anywhere, and nothing leaves your phone.
If you’d still rather keep them out of your timeline, switch the access off:
- In Arc: Settings → Permissions → Open iOS Settings → Photos → None
- Or straight from iOS: Settings app → Arc Timeline 4 → Photos → None
Once access is off, no photos will appear in your timeline.
