Database has been updating for 3 hours since installing today’s update. Advice please

@wraxall Glad it’s done — and yes, a one-off! That was a maintenance pass that comes with this update; that one’s finished and won’t repeat.
We’d like to see how much of those three hours was actual work, because the app gets suspended whenever it’s in the background, so clock time and working time can be very different. So the first question: was Arc open on screen through it, or did you leave it and come back? And if you’ve got a minute: on the map, the ⋯ button top-right → Export Diagnostics, with Sunday’s date showing (the day you updated). It builds a file and offers the share sheet — email it to matt@bigpaua.com with a link to this thread.

Left it open for about 3 hours. Then closed it and powered off and on. It then resumed database updating for 8 hours+
@wraxall Thank you for the diagnostics — they answer it, and thank you for the day of patience it cost you. The maintenance pass started on each of those launches and only finished on one of them: the one that ran with the phone on charge, which took about five minutes. The earlier attempts were still going when you left them. That’s a lead we’re looking at on our side.
It’s done on your phone now and won’t repeat. Nothing else for you to do — and I’m glad it’s behind you.
