Workout Export Apple

I started using Arc 4 from Arc and today I was mowing my lawn which it recorded as walking which was great, however unlink with Arc I could export the walk as Workout to Apple Health. Is that not possible with this version?

I also started using today, and the export data in the setting is silently failing. I can see that in my icloud it basically exports empty folders. This bug needs to be fixed.

Hi @Jeffrey79423! That feature hasn’t been added to the new app yet. But I’ll make sure it’s filed and planned for one of the upcoming updates!

Hi @wiseywisey1234! I will need more detail on the problem you’re having.

Are you talking about the “Export Full Database” option in the Backup & Restore settings view?

If so, what do you see when you tap it? You should see progress bars, and a process that takes several minutes.

Then once it’s finished check in the Files app on your iPhone. In iCloud Drive → Arc Timeline → Exports → export-2026-04-20-090523 (or something like this).

Inside that folder you should see folders for items, samples, etc.

If that’s not what you’re seeing, please send a screenshot of what you do see!

When I click the export full database, it takes a split second to finish what it’s doing not slow enough to see and then I directly see the new export folder on my icloud however its basically empty. I will wait if later Icloud will sync or not.

Thanks for the fast response

@wiseywisey1234 Yeah definitely check the Files app on your phone. The files are saved there immediately, so no need to wait for sync to see the results in Files app.

For a fresh install with almost new database, in the samples folder you should see only one file - that’s normal. You should see something like “2026-W17.json.gz”. If that’s there, you’re all good!
