I’m going to be offline sporadically over the next few weeks! A cycling trip in Thailand, then a trek in Kyrgyzstan! ![]()
I still should be online and available in some parts of the days, though especially on the trek I’ll only have my iPhone. Which means either customer support here on the forum degrades or stops, which wouldn’t be great.
Claude and I have already been working together on the forum every morning for the past many months. Every morning we work through everything together, drafting and editing replies, and documenting how to deal with various kinds of issues. You’ll have seen many of Claude’s replies - those are the result of us working together, until we think we’ve got it right.
So our plan for my offline days is to have Claude handle the mornings mostly solo, just for those periods. It’ll be a temporary thing, and we’re going to trial it first over this weekend. Claude will also be able to ping me as needed, if anything urgent comes up. But there will be cases where Claude can only deal with part of it, or intentionally thinks the fuller response should best wait until I’m back and we can work through it together.
Anyway, this is just a heads up to let everyone know! Hopefully everything will go about the same as usual. And if there are any urgent issues, I should still be able to step in in random hours, as long as I’m not on some mountain top with no cell signal or flat phone battery ![]()
