Hi, I have a suggestion. I often choose to eat at places that are really close to my workplace. Arc thinks I’m staying at work, so I have to go back and divide the steps, which is tedious. Would it be possible to choose the size of the location, like in the Apple Reminders app? Thanks.

Short version: there’s no place size to adjust, and it turns out that wouldn’t be the lever anyway.
The sizes involved aren’t settings, they’re measured. Arc works them out from your own recorded data and keeps adjusting them as it goes, and they’re already as tight as the rest of the system can tolerate. Wind them in further and other things start breaking, in ways that would cost you more than the lunch visits do.
The more useful thing to know is that the boundary swallowing your cafe visit isn’t really your workplace’s size. It’s a different mechanism, closer to how Arc decides which recorded samples belong to which visit, and a size control wouldn’t reach it.
Your manual fixes aren’t wasted effort though. Every correction feeds the models that make these decisions next time, at several levels at once. Some spots sit close enough together that they may never quite clear the automatic thresholds, but repeated correction genuinely moves the odds, and it’s the fastest route there.
And the suggestion did start something. It’s prompted a proper look at how these calls get made around overlapping places, now filed as BIG-666. Not quite the shape you proposed, but you’re the reason it’s on the list.
