"Merge Places" function

Hi. I’ve finally switched to a new app. It’s lightweight, looks great!
I have a few requests.

  • I can no longer tell which services the Place data is linked to (like the old Foursquare or Google Maps). I’d like to see this feature brought back.
  • I can’t find the “Merge Places” feature. I’d really like to see this brought back—for example, when I want to switch a Foursquare-linked Place I’ve visited many times to Google.
  • Please provide a URL scheme for launching new app. The old one can be launched using “arcapp://”.

Ah yes. I think there’s a ticket filed for this. I’ll find it… Ok it’s BIG-496. Filed for one of the upcoming feature updates.

Yep! Me too. The ticket for this one is BIG-153. It’s filed as high priority, and for one of the next feature updates. I’d guess at it arriving in perhaps a couple of weeks, if all goes well.

Noted! Not sure if this one’s filed yet… Ok this one’s filed now: BIG-497. This one might even sneak into the update coming this week! It’s a nice little safe and quick one.

Hey, new to your forum. Great app, great support! Wondering if you have an update on BIG-153, merge places? Thanks.

Yep, BIG-153 still coming. It’s filed for 1.4.0 (so the next feature release), high priority. So the only thing that’s been holding it back is other slightly more urgent things popping up and getting in the way.

But that won’t go on forever. Fingers crossed it actually makes it in to 1.4 this time! It was slated for 1.3, but as usual time ran out and 1.3 shipped without. Anyway, this time, for sure it’ll make it in :sweat_smile:
