Mac maps question

Does anyone take the gpx or json files from the arc app exports and upload them to any Mac software to visually see the tracks on your desktop? If so, what software have you used for this? I have tried google earth, but did not like it.

The three third party tools and visualisers that I’m aware of are:

Though for visualising path data, any app or website that can use GPX files will suffice.

On my Mac I use MyTracks (www.mytracks4mac.com). It works pretty well now that the .gpx files from Arc are being written correctly. I use Arc Viewer (Arc Viewer) for the .json files, but for some reason that always opens in Scotland, and I have to zoom out and reposition it closer to where the tracks are located.

Personally, I blame the Loch Ness Monster.

Always starting in Scotland is very annoying when you’re 16,000 kms away

GPXsee is lightweight and the one I default to for GPS files.
