How to capture a flight that Arc didn't track

I flew internationally and because I was in the middle seat not the window seat, Arc has recorded nothing. Is there any way for me to draw a flight line between the two locations? I’m pretty sure the answer is still no, based on previous discussions but maybe there’s a new app feature I’ve missed since my last flight.

Yeah unfortunately the answer is no, for now. But that’s top of the list of features for the next major release! I think it was either first or first equal in the last feature requests poll on the forum here.

Although, to at the very least get a simple straight line between the two airports, you can use Individual Segments view and Split Segment view to extract out a few “airplane” samples on each end, which can then join up to create that line. It won’t be impressive or contain any useful detail, but it’ll at least show the line on the map.

Can’t you draw a gpx track by hand in another app/service (e.g. https://gpx.studio/) and import this gpx file into Arc? This way you get a line that is shaped according to your wishes.

I’m trying to do the exact same thing, by downloading csv/kml data from FlightRadar24, convert them to gpx, and then import into Arc.

The problem I’m facing is that even for a short flight from SEA→SJC, it has 700+ points and Arc is stuck in “processing xxx items” forever. Ideally I’d like to see 1 “airplane” segment in Arc, instead of 700+ individual points.

During the import, Arc only allow me to select “waypoints” and not “tracks” from the gpx file (tracks were grayed out). I’m not sure if it’s an issue in the original kml file, a kml→gpx conversion issue, or Arc import issue.
