Go to into the visit details view then edit view for one of the visits in the day. You only need to go into one visit, not all. The places report only needs one visit/place in the day to know which city and country you were in that day.
When the place results list loads it will automatically do the reverse geocode lookup for any places in the list that don’t have the address field filled in yet (the second line of detail for each row in the results list). That address field lookup is the same reverse geocode update that also fetches the city and country info.
Oh and once it’s done the reverse geocode for a place, all visits to that place will now have that info. So let’s say you went to another city for 10 days and stayed in the same hotel the whole time. Once the reverse geocode is done for that hotel place, the places report will now know where you were on each of those 10 days.
So what I’ve done myself is think of the place that I went to almost every day (usually a hotel), find a visit to that, go into the edit view, and that entire trip is probably fixed and will show up properly in the places report.
