Build 37, but also in the previous build.
Two issues:
- can’t delete items from the timeline
- taps regularly do not register, having to tap twice (this has been a problem since I started using the new app)

Yeah I’ve seen this one too, when using the long press context menu. Not sure what the cause is, and every time I go to test it it stops happening by the time I’ve got the app connected to the debugger!
I do find that the delete button on Item Details view or Item Edit view still works fine though.
Which buttons is this for tapping on?
Delete. The lack of clear indication what was tapped is so shitty in the liquid glass ![]()
wrt testing, it seems like it can get into this state after you do it a bunch of times (although, in this example it starts to get bad almost right away). But I think if you get a timeline and start to delete a bunch of things, it’ll break eventually. Perhaps it’s also related to having a lot (> 30 in this case) unconfirmed items, who knows.
Yeah Liquid Glass’s styling for tap feedback is… unsatisfyingly minimal.
Unfortunately once you opt in to Liquid Glass you lose control. Liquid Glass decides how it all looks, and we only get very minimal input into those decisions. Tap feedback is one that’s no longer up to us.
I suspect it’s a combination of things that results in the list view updating frequently. Like, if the view updates/rebuilds while you’ve already got the menu open, the menu semi-breaks. So yeah if there’s a lot of data in the list, if you’re making a lot of rapid changes, etc, there’s higher risk of the menu getting into that “my actions just get silently dropped” state.
Anyway hopefully it won’t be too hard to find in the code! I’ll have a poke around soon.
