Arc Timeline stopping a lot lately

That unfortunately sounds like one of the mystery “nobody really knows” cases. It could be something Arc is doing, it could be some other app on the phone, it could be iOS itself, but figuring out which it is is next to impossible

Have you looked at Arc Editor yet? That’s really the best bet at this stage. It’s the ground up rebuild of Arc Timeline, using all latest technologies, getting rid of a decade of accumulated cruft in the old Arc Timeline app.

I highly recommend installing Arc Editor and giving that a go! You can import your Arc Timeline data, and then things will work mostly the same as in the old app, with all your data there, but with a more modern UI and far fewer mystery bugs. Also: faster processing, higher quality data, and a bunch more niceties.
