Just updated the app and (having previously bought the app) started the trial. The database migration causes the app to crash after a brief run with no progress on the migration. Restarted the phone and the app crashes even faster, immediately after the migration starts. What’s wrong? I rely on the app for semi-important parts of billing.
The migration from the old database format is now three years old. Database structures have changed a lot in the past three years, making the migration from the old database format increasingly difficult to maintain and support. As such it is due to be removed in the next update.
Your best option now is to delete the app then do a fresh install, with fresh database. Sorry about that!
