I’ve been using Arc 4 since it released and my imports and backups seem to be in good standing. So I was wondering if I can safely delete the Arc Timeline - Trips & Places backup in iCloud. It’s about 1.4 GB, while Arc 4 uses 2.1 GB. Inside the app, Arc 4 itself reports using 2.32 GB.
Yes — safe to delete. Arc Timeline 4 never reads anything from the old app’s iCloud data. It keeps its own backups and exports in a separate “Arc Timeline” folder on iCloud Drive — that’s the one to leave alone. The “Arc Timeline - Trips & Places” entry is the old app’s own iCloud data, and nothing in the new app depends on it.
