I’m 99% sure this will be a temporary thing and entirely random, not related to the latest Arc update (or anything else we’ll be able to identify).
The latest update hasn’t changed anything with the recording engine or background processing or housekeeping tasks or … well anything at all that could conceivably increase or decrease energy use.
So it’ll be the usual thing where for some mysterious reason energy use goes up temporarily, maybe for a few days, then just as mysteriously goes back to normal.
If it’s still showing up as using a lot more energy in a few more days, and most significantly: if you’ve actually having to charge the phone more earlier or more often, then let me know! Otherwise… yeah, best to just pretend you didn’t see it, and it’ll go away on its own
