Random q, but I’ve been staying in Bangkok for a few weeks now and I noticed that Arc started to have massive location gaps (hours long), esp around Central Embassy area. Arc doesn’t even say data gaps or anything, simply nothing gets recorded.
Is there something cool going on with BKK GPS, or am I having a particularly weird bout of bad luck?
Hm. That’s weird! I’ve never noticed unusual location problems around that area. I used to work from one of the cafes at the top of Central Embassy - much fancier than a Starbucks 
If there’s no location data recorded at all, I’d suspect it’s more likely to be an Arc problem. Is this in Arc Editor or Arc Timeline? If Editor, might be worth digging into the debug logs, to see if anything shows up around the times you’re seeing the big gaps.
Could be that the app was suspended by iOS (which should never happen, but can). Though also the fact that a data gap item wasn’t added suggests an Arc bug. Processing really should’ve inserted that.
If you’re keen to dig into it, could email me the relevant log files and let me know the time periods, if you can spot them. If not, no worries.
