Yes, I plan to keep Arc Reader maintained, since I am a long-time user of Arc Timeline / Editor so need it if just for myself.
It probably has too many features, but I still plan to add more to tour-sharing when I get a chance. I’m thinking of adding a selection of photos to a tour, so it would be like an interactive photo book for relatives, friends and others to use.
There are travellers who post regularly to YouTube, so I’m thinking about what they could provide to their users as they continue their adventures. That will be my design guide.
I’ve been a bit absent around here for the last few weeks working on a few other projects. My most recent distraction is an OBD adaptor-based Trip-Logger for my PHEV ‘Ute’. Calculating fuel economy for a petrol or diesel vehicle is easy compared to PHEVs which have multiple modes i.e. EV-only, EV with ICE as a generator, EV with ICE in parallel, EV Charging, Petrol Re-fuelling, and Camping Mode (V2L) where there can be significant battery and ICE generator use without a change in location.
Here’s an early screenshot of the EV dashboard. For obvious reasons my fuel-based testing is currently on-hold! The smaller dial is accelerator pedal position.
