# Freezing up after using map in full screen

Hi,

Just re-installed Arc as a clean install.

If I am in today’s view and swipe down to look at the days map, when you swipe up the days entry goes blank and the app locks up.

What am I doing wrong?

@StuFather You’re not doing anything wrong: sliding the list down to see the day’s map and back up again is an everyday way to use the Timeline tab. A few things will let us see what’s happening on your phone:

1. Which versions you’re on: the title at the top of Settings (the gear on the map) → Advanced → Debug Info shows Arc’s version, and the iOS version is in the iPhone’s Settings app → General → About. Typing them out is fine.
2. When the list goes blank, does the rest of the app still respond (the map, the buttons on it, the tabs along the bottom), or does everything stop responding? And does the list come back by itself if you give it a minute?
3. The next time it happens, a diagnostics bundle from that day: on the Timeline tab, tap the ⋯ button at the top right of the map → Export Diagnostics → Continue, then email it to [matt@bigpaua.com](mailto:matt@bigpaua.com) mentioning you’re StuFather.

Ah, @StuFather we’ve found your bug! Should have the fix in the next update. Though by then it’ll be long gone for you. It only shows up in a fresh install, when there’s no previous timeline day. So yeah, by tomorrow it will have stopped happening - that’s the good news.

@StuFather 1.7.5 is out today with the fix for this (BIG-740), so it won’t catch anyone else on a fresh install either. Thanks for confirming.
