# Edit private locations

Is there any way to edit old private locations and give them a more accurate description?

@Watkindj Yes. Open the place (from the Places tab, or from one of its visits via Place Details), tap the ⋯ (More) button, then Edit Place, and change the name there. The new name applies to every visit at that place. For a description that belongs to one visit rather than the place, use Custom title on that visit’s Edit screen instead.
