# Custom Transport Types

Hi Matt,

Is there any way to create a custom transport type?

I’m retired, so I use a golf cart quite regularly. Either having the ability to add this type of transport or to create my own would be awesome.

Thanks for the great work on this app.

@StuFather There isn’t a way to add your own — the activity types are a fixed set. Custom types are tracked as BIG-692, and your request is on it.

The activity models on your phone do learn from the types you choose, though, so if you settle on one of the existing types for the cart rides and use it each time, they’ll come out labelled that way more and more often in the places you ride.
